The show season is a great time to socialise with other Lincoln breeders or if you are just interested in the breed it’s a perfect opportunity to come along and meet our members and their sheep.

Agricultural Shows with official LLSBA Lincoln Longwool Classes in 2016:
Showing is a great way to promote the breed. It even gives us chance to encourage the next generation of Lincoln Longwool breeders.
We have two official LLSBA Sales per year, where you can buy guaranteed pedigree registered Lincoln Longwools:
The Heckington Sale takes place on the Sunday of the show usually around 2pm. It is a traditional sale and wonderful spectacle, conducted by Robert Bell Auctioneers of Horncastle. The sheep are sold in guineas (£1.05). There is plenty of opportunity to view the sheep and speak to their breeders before the sale commences.
The sale Catalogue will be available about 6 weeks before the sale date.
This sale is organized by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust and takes place over 2 days, the show is on the first day and the sale on the second day. The sale is for all native rare breeds including Lincoln Longwools. The sale takes place at Melton Mowbray Livestock Market.
The sale catalogue is available about 6 weeks before the sale date.
